TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Registration instructions and claim information form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The programme is only open to government-approved primary & secondary schools and kindergartens/preschools within Australia whose registrations are accepted by the Promoter ("Eligible Schools"). Other organisations, social clubs and individuals, including employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this programme, are excluded from participating in the programme. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of registrations, claims and registered Eligible Schools, and to disqualify any Eligible school or individual who submits a registration or claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the registration or claim processes. The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse any school's registration for this programme. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  4. Programme commences 1/02/07 and closes last mail received 27/11/09 ("Programme Period"). No claims will be accepted after this date. The registration period for schools wishing to participate commences 1/02/07 and closes 11:59pm AEST 18/09/09 ("Registration Period"). No registrations will be accepted after this date.
  5. Registration: To register your school, a representative of the Eligible School must visit www.collectathon.com.au and fill in all fields as requested (including the representative's email address) during the Registration Period. Each Eligible School wishing to participate must appoint a nominated representative, as nominated on their registration, to act on behalf of their Eligible School and be responsible for registration and subsequent management of the programme. Each Eligible School whose registration is accepted will receive an automatic email reply of registration confirmation to the nominated representative's email address. Limit one registration per Eligible School.
  6. Fund redemption/claims: Each specially marked packet of Farm Pride Eggs (Free Range & Cage Laid 600g, 700g & 800g 12 packs & Free Range & Cage Laid 330g 6 packs & 700g 10pk) and Golden Eggs (Free Range 50g 12pk & Cage Laid 50g and 59g 12pk) will feature a '50 cent token' present on the outside of the carton. To submit a claim, registered Eligible Schools must, during the Programme Period, collect the original tokens from specially marked packs (including those purchased by students, their families and school staff), fully complete an official 'Farm Pride/Golden Eggs claim form' including the number of tokens collected, enclose the claim form and the original tokens in an envelope, and send to:

  7. Only original tokens will be accepted. Unrecognised tokens will not be accepted. Registered Eligible Schools may obtain claim forms by visiting www.collectathon.com.au and downloading them.
  8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected registrations or claims. The Promoter recommends that Eligible Schools send their claims by registered post; however, this is not a condition of submitting claims. All costs associated with posting claims are the Eligible School's responsibility.
  9. For every valid token collected and submitted by each registered Eligible School as per the following dates;
    1. Claims received by last mail 30/06/07 will be processed by 27/07/07.
    2. Claims received by last mail 30/11/07 will be processed by 28/12/07.
    the registered Eligible School will receive 20 cents (AUD$0.20).
  10. For every valid token (whether marked 20 cent or 50 cent) collected and submitted by each registered Eligible School as per the following dates;
    1. Claims received by last mail 30/06/08 will be processed by 29/07/08.
    2. Claims received by last mail 29/11/08 will be processed by 30/12/08.
    3. Claims received by last mail 30/06/09 will be processed by 28/07/09.
    4. Claims received by last mail 30/11/09 will be processed by 29/12/09.
    the registered Eligible School will receive 50 cents (AUD$0.50).
  11. All valid claims will be rewarded in the form of a cheque made payable to the registered Eligible School. All claims are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  12. Promoter's decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained by any person as a result of participating in this programme, or submitting any claim.
  14. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the programme.
  15. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by the Internet user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this programme, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this programme including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
  16. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this programme.
  17. Any costs associated with accessing the programme website is the registrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website shall be deemed invalid.
  18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from participating in the programme. Independent financial advice should be sought.
  19. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the programme. If the information requested is not provided, the Eligible School may not participate in the programme. By participating in the programme, unless otherwise advised, each participant also agrees that the Promoter may use the personal information that they provide, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the participant, including sending the participant electronic messages. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below. If a participant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to participate in the programme.
  20. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, may, at any time:
    1. change, amend or vary these Terms and Conditions;
    2. change, amend, vary, withdraw or cancel the programme;
    3. exclude an Eligible School from participating in the programme (whether before or after accepting the Eligible School's registration); and/or
    4. cancel an Eligible School's participation in the programme;
    without prior notice to an Eligible School.
